Is your baby bottle BPA-FREE?

Yes. All babaLID products are BPA free.

What materials are used to make babaLID feeding bottles?

PCTG  is the plastic material used to produce the babaLID bottles. It provides excellent transparency, very high impact strength and chemical resistance. It is approved by FDA, and so will not emit BPA. 

What’s difference between sterilizing and cleaning bottles?

Cleaning- using soapy water to individually wash each part of the bottle.

Sterilizing- is an extra protective step that removes any residual germs, chemical or bacteria after cleaning.

Can I sterilize the babaLID bottles?

Yes. All babaLID bottles can be safely sterilized using one of these methods:

    • Disassemble the parts and boil in water for 3-5 minutes. Do not exceed 5 minutes. We recommend bringing the water to a boil, inserting the parts, and then turning the heat off and leaving in the hot water for 3-5 minutes.
    • Use a Baby Bottle Microwave Steam Sterilizer. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
    • Use a Baby Bottle Electric Steam Sterilizer. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Is it safe to wash the bottles in dishwasher?

Yes. BabaLID bottles only have 5 essential parts, making them easy to assemble and easy to clean. The bottles should be taken apart before cleaning. Each individual part can be cleaned in the Dishwasher (top rack only), or by using water and a mild soap.

Are the bottles recyclable?

Yes. BabaLD bottle container are recyclable.

Are babaLid bottles leak proof?

Yes. Our detachable tethered lid ensures that the liquid stays in the bottle.  And you don’t ever have to separate the lid from the bottle.

Is the detachable tether (cord) safe?

The tethers (cord) are made of 100% food grade silicone.

Tether can be used with or with our the bottle. However, it is recommended to keep tether connected to the bottle to avoid separation from lid.

What stage nipple is right for my baby and when should I switch to the next?

All babies are different and require different flow rates according to their size and feeding pace. There are no firm rules on when to move up to the next level, but below is a general guide:

    • Stage 1 —Slow Flow – 0-3 months
    • Stage 2 —Medium Flow – 3-6months
    • Stage 3 – Fast Flow - 6-9 months
    • Stage 4 — Fastest 9-12 months and over

It is important to monitor the feeding habits of your baby and to change the bottle nipple to match your baby’s feeding style, regardless of age.

 Can I buy replacement nipples for the baby bottles?

Yes. Replacement nipples in Stage 2 and Stage 3 sizes will be available. Currently replacement nipples for Stage 1 nipples are not available; please CONTACT US should you need Stage 1 replacement nipples.

Can I use another nipple brand with the babaLID bottles?

Yes. We understand the importance of being able to use other nipples. There are a few brand name nipples that you can use with the babaLID baby bottles. CONTACT US for a list of those nipples.

What is babaLID doing to ensure the quality and safety of its products?
